As Chinese firms continue to “go out” under the Belt and Road Initiative, China’s development experience is entering global arenas at an unprecedented scale. Yet these experiences must be articulated within a development discourse historically shaped by Western frameworks.These article show how Chinese practices are reinterpreted, simplified, and reconfigured across institutional contexts.
